Origin Story

Jared began learning HTML when he was 8 years old. By the time he was 13, he had learned XHMTL, CSS, and ActionScript (for what was then called Macromedia Flash). Soon, he added JavaScript and, throughout his teens, he built websites for local non-profits and personal projects.

At 17, Jared began college, and soon earned an AAS in Web Development Technology from Rose State College in Midwest City, OK. While attenting Rose State College, Jared picked up ASP, PHP, Java, MySQL, and more

In 2015, Jared began working for Teton Solutions Group in Norman, OK. There, he worked with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, KnockOutJs, Vue, Go, and other technologies. While technically a developer, he also handled Linux server administration and database administration. Among his many projects, he converted a legacy VB6 application to a modern web application, and created an API that continues to be used by one of the largest automotive data providers in the world.

In 2021, Jared earned a BS from Liberty University. In 2022, he received CompTIA's Security+ certification, and joined Delaware Nation Industries as a .NET developer. As of 2024, Jared is working with .NET (MVC and WebAPI), SQL Server, and Vue, in an agile environment. On the side, Jared works on projects using Go, PHP, React Native, and more.

When Jared isn't coding, he enjoys going to church, drinking quality tea and coffee, and reading research from varied fields. He has just a couple of classes left for a master's in theological studies.
