Technology is morally neutral, but how technology is used can be a great moral virtue or an abomination. There is a startling trend in technology that is exploitative, particularly of the young. From psychologically tuned algorithms that make the use of social media more difficult to resist, to controlling narratives and inciting the marginalized toward radicalization.
